Under this new act, the maximum amount of fines for those who do not follow traffic rules. New regulations have been enacted for life-saving, accident control. These rules are being implemented in the wake of the increasing
number of accidents every year. Yet there are those who violate traffic rules.
Alley camera is now installed on Indian roads for violation of traffic rules. If you break traffic rules, you are fine. You can now find out online if you violate traffic rules and pay a fine. The e-challan is generated by traffic police. You have the option to pay it online.
How to pay for a traffic violation check online?
Step 1: Go to the e-challan web site via your laptop or mobile. This is the ‘One Nation One Challan’ initiative. On this page you get the option of “Check Challan status”.
Step 2: You have the option to search for a challan using your license number or challan number or vehicle registration number. You can select any of the details and enter the captcha and continue.
Step 3: Select any of the options above and the details will be displayed as soon as you enter the details. Sometimes it is possible to find two different challans in vehicle number and license number separately. If you want to know about all the challans published against your vehicle, you should search for both.
Step 4: Once the Challan details are generated, hit the “Pay Now” option, and make an online payment.
Step 5: Your mobile number will be checked for payment. An OTP will be sent to your mobile for that. You will then be redirected to the respective state e-challan payment web site.
Step 6: You go to the Payment Configuration Page. Here you select the ‘Procedure with Net Payment’ option and you can complete the payment using any type of payment gateway like net banking, card payment, etc.
NOTE: We do not have challan available because “challan status not found” is available on the web site.
